Fantastic event space! Hosted a welcome party for our wedding here. They are easy to work with, have plenty of options for events big, small, complex and simple. The staff was great serving drinks to a large crowd- will be back to host events!

We held my retirement party at FBC University Ave. On 12/11/24. What an exceptional place to hold an event. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Kristen was such a pleasure to work with the entire time. She made event planning so easy and fun. The space was terrific and it just the type of look and environment I was hoping for all the guests. The two staff members working there were so pleasant and helpful. They were awesome. I would highly recommended this venue for whatever type of event you are considering. Fairport Brewing was an AMAZING host for our office event! They were fully staffed and attentive to every detail throughout the night. The buzz was happening around the office for many days after the party. Many appreciated that they never had to wait in line for a drink and said that karaoke hit the mark. Fairport Brewing University Location is the BEST spot for your next event needs - whatever that may be. Kristen, Tim, and the bartending staff are beyond accommodating. We hosted an event with live music and guest bartending and all of our guests raved about the location!

My family hosted our dad’s 70th birthday party at FBC, and the experience was amazing from start to end! Exceptional staff & management. The owner Kristen was always available for communication and helpful ideas! She helped us brainstorm signature cocktails and even made a digital sign to display on the tv that matched our theme! The bartenders were attentive, friendly, skilled, and helped with set up, music, and slideshow on the TV’s & were great with all the guests! The space is great for hosting a party of any size! We enjoyed playing darts and corn hole in the front room also! I would definitely recommend hosting a party here!

Fairport Brewing was generous enough to let us host our Compeer Rochester fundraiser at their University Ave location last week. The space was perfect for our 100-ish attendees to gather and celebrate this great organization. Fairport Brewing was accommodating, helpful, friendly and lovely! The stage was perfect for our musical entertainment, along with the MC announcements. Not only were they generous in their allowing us to set up early, bring in our catering, and use their full space, but also the staff was friendly and helpful. Just a great event! Love Fairport Brewing!

The venue was perfect for the birthday party celebration! Plenty of space for everyone to sit and mill around. Kristen & Tim were very accommodating and attended to anything that we needed. The stage was perfect for the DJ to set up at and the sound and lighting systems were great! Kristen and Tim did a great job behind the bar serving 60-65 people as no one ever seemed to be waiting very long for a drink. Overall, a great spot to hold an event. I’d recommend to anyone!

I recently attended a Compeer Rochester Fundraising at FBC on University Ave. FBC exceeded all expectations for this event! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the location, and the welcoming atmosphere. The venue is spacious and nicely designed to entertain all events, they are offering a blend of simple space with elegance and comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure that every guest felt appreciated. They were quick to address any requests and ensured that the event ran smoothly from start to finish. Thank you FBC for supporting a local nonprofit and our event!!

Working with Kristen to plan my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party, was a wonderful experience. Both Kristen and Tim were willing to work with our needs to make the event really special for my parents and our family. 1. Kirsten Malone (event coordinator) is a gem and was so great to work with, very accommodating, and the sweetest human.
2. FREEEEEEEEE event space that holds up 230 people which includes Karaoke, Board Games, and Corn Hole.
3. The Staff - The bartenders were great, efficient, never a long wait for a drink.
4. The Drinks - Their selections of beer, wine, spirits, and N/A drinks are unbelievable, there is truly something for EVERYONE.

Hosted my boyfriend’s 30th birthday party here with about 40+ people. The venue, staff, and accommodations were wonderful. Kristen made the entire process such an ease. All of our guests had a great time - such a fun night and such an awesome space. Highly recommend and definitely will be back soon!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! We hosted a work gathering at FBC on university and it was exactly what we were looking for. The inquiry and booking process were so simple, very clearly spelling out the expectations and options the different package offerings. Kristen was very quick to respond and offered helpful suggestions for our group. The flexibility of the event space made it simple to plan on our end, not to mention that you really can’t beat a FREE event space! We will definitely be keeping this space in mind for future gatherings.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue and atmosphere at this location. We hosted a private party for a birthday and it was the perfect spot. Hillary was an amazing bar tender and incredibly helpful throughout our day. Thank you for making it so easy to celebrate at Fairport Brewing! It was already on my mind to return for future parties, but I had quite a few guests thinking the same by the time they left in the afternoon. I found this venue on line and reached out via email. Kristen responded immediately with all needed information. She was so attentive and answered every question without any issue. The day of the party she was onsite and helped us get everything where we needed it. She was quick to answer questions and concerns. She was very flexible and accommodating. The party was a HUGE success and comfortably housed 70 guests. We enjoyed the stage and sound system as well as the karaoke setup. It was a perfect day!!

We hosted an event at Fairport Brewing Company for 120 people. Tim and Kristen worked through our many change requests effortlessly, and not once did they balk at our ideas. They went above and beyond to meet with us and our outside vendors when necessary and were very accommodating with our schedules. In addition, they were very flexible about rearranging the space to meet our needs. The staff was amazing with our guests and made everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere in the space was warm and appealing. We highly recommend this venue. Even though 5 stars in the highest rating, Fairport Brewing Company deserves a 10!

We had our 10 year high school reunion at Fairport Brewing Company downtown and it was AMAZING! Kristen handled all of my questions wonderfully and was such a huge help. Our bartender, Julia, was so great! She made the evening even better. I would highly recommend booking them for an event!

Just had our company holiday party at the University Ave location, and it was fantastic! Super easy to work with, answered all my questions, and the space itself can really be anything you want it to be. Also, their drink menu offers plenty of options, so everyone in our group found beverages they could enjoy. If you're looking for a great space to hold a get-together of any kind, I'd highly recommend FBC! I will definitely use them again in the future!

For the second year in a row, Fairport Brewing Company has outdone itself!! We hosted our school's annual holiday party at FBC, and everyone had a wonderful time! The staff at FBC are accommodating and friendly, the venue is perfect for any party, and there is an excellent set-up for karaoke (which we took full advantage of). Thank you so much for hosting our holiday party again! We will be back next year!

We had our mom's 65th country western birthday party at FBC and ALL  of our guests were thrilled with the space and the welcoming and kool vibe. So much so that an event was booked by the end of the night...Yes sir, yes ma'am...FAIRPORT BREWING COMPANY is the choice for all things celebration!!!!

Excellent venue! We had a couples baby shower and could not have been more pleased with the venue and management team!  Kristen and Tim were great to work with, super responsive, flexible and supportive.  Always available for questions or follow up, they offered suggestions when we asked and made our event better. Our guests loved the custom drinks named for the guests of honor (and their dog) and took advantage of the brewery’s offerings.   We were able to show the football games that some of the guests wanted to see and also had enough tvs to have a slide show at the same time.   The stage was perfect for announcements and displaying presents and were easily able to decorate to personalize for our guests of honor.   Highly recommend!

We highly recommend FBC University as a venue! Kristen and her staff were easy to work with, very responsive to our many questions and provided guidance to help make this event a success. I couldn't have asked for a better venue than Fairport Brewing Company to host my disco-themed birthday bash! 

The staff at FBC  truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, friendly, and accommodating; making sure that all of my guests felt comfortable and had a fantastic time. Special shout-out to the bartenders who crafted some incredible cocktails, served up some of Fairport Brewing Company's delicious craft beers, and even went above and beyond to curate a drink menu specifically for our 70’s theme. 

We had a DJ and a band at the event. Both Kristen and Tim made sure that the talent knew exactly what FBC had for them to utilize when it came to sound, to make sure that everything would run smoothly on the day of the event. I couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to make it happen. Thank you for going above and beyond to create a memorable experience for me and my guests!

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner, followed by a wedding welcome party at FBC on University this past weekend. The space was great for our 35 guests at the rehearsal, but also worked great for approximately 85 guests for the bigger party following the rehearsal. Kristen was organized and accommodating! There was a good variety of beer, full bar, and N/A drinks available. There was plenty of space for our caterer to setup, etc. as well. Would definitely use Kristen and the FBC space for future events!

Fairport University offered a fun, flexible space for our corporate customer appreciation event. The staff were more than helpful. We were able to bring in large pieces of equipment to demo. Our presenter made good use of the sound system and stage. The beverage selection was varied and yummy. Our customers left feeling happy -- and, I’m sure, appreciated!

If you're looking to throw a party, FBC is the place. We just recently threw our son’s first birthday party. The space is huge and comfortable, extremely clean and there was so much to do for the few kids that attended. We played cornhole, darts and lots of games were available with space for the kids to run. Hilary the bartender was absolutely amazing, so helpful and accommodating. There were drinks to fit everyone's needs! Kristen, Thank You so much for making the process so stress free and easy! We will definitely be renting the space again!

5 stars!!! We chose FBC for a birthday party and couldn’t have been happier! Kristen answered all of our many questions and was easy to work with. 
She even created a signature cocktail the  day of the party once she saw our theme! We were so pleased with how smooth and perfect the day went! 

I loved working with FBC for my event! The staff were all very welcoming, responsive and helpful along each step of the way! I have been telling everyone I know in the events world about the value of being able to host an event at FBC and will definitely keep them in mind for future events!

My husband and I loved hosting our coed baby shower at this space. Our guests still keep talking about it. All of my questions via email were answered so quickly leading up to our event. We can't say enough amazing things about the space and the owners. It was a low stress, relaxing evening with all of our friends and family thanks to Kristen. They have the perfect operation here for any event no matter the size. 

Kristen and the staff at FBC on University were amazing! They were so flexible and accommodating for my event and provided such great service to our large group. Thank you for all your hard work and amazing facility. This is such a great place for kids to play games and allow adults to enjoy themselves as well. Fairport Brewing Company made an excellent choice for an anniversary party for 35 people.  The venue is spacious and had games available for people (corn hole, board games, etc..).  There were plenty of tables and chairs and we could play our own music.  Thank you to the team for making the experience easy. We would highly recommend this venue!

If you’re thinking of hosting a private event in Rochester, NY—this is the place to do it! My company hosted a local biomedical customer appreciation event and the Fairport Brewing, University Ave location, in June 2023. Not only was the staff and owner overly accommodating to our every question, request and demand, but they went the extra mile at every possible opportunity (e.g. letting us ship items overnight to store and recommending caterers as we came from out of town etc.). The beer and hard Kombucha were a hit, staff was professional and courteous, the space was clean and vast, contained no rental fees and had games, stage and was equipped with TVs for slideshows.

I would 100% recommend this location for events or just to stop and have a nice time—just don’t forget to grab Root Beer and libations to-go! Most of my staff took some home to their significant others and they all already asked for replenishments next time we visit the area on a business trip. Special thanks to Kristen and Tim at Fairport—you are both incredible, cheers!
