Come brew with us on Tuesday January 22nd. We are bringing Doug back to brew a 25 gallon batch of the Errant Nymph Porter. We should have Apollo 8 and some of the famous Lift Bridge Blonde on tap, so get it while you can! Doors open at 6pm so come in and taste some beer and hang with us as we brew! Many have asked how long does the beer stay fresh in a growler? As long as you do not open the lid and the growler remains refrigerated, it will stay fresh for at least 7 days. Once the growler cap is unscrewed, letting the carbonation escape, drink it within 24 hours. Can we bring in a growler from another brewery? Yes we do fill other breweries growlers! Extract Class (Beginners) February 5th at 6pm-9pm ($59) All Grain Class (Advanced) Feb 23rd starting at 9am-5pm includes lunch ($159) If you are interested in joining one of these classes you need to come to the brewery to reserve your spot. For those that ordered up brewing classes we have the following dates in February. Extract Brewing Class Extract Class: Feb 5th or 19th (6-9 pm) This class will review extract brewing basics, create a recipe using in-house ingredients, then brew the beer. The material will focus on an overview of the brewing process from start to finish. The process will use or demonstrate tools and techniques available to the average home brewer. Every Cow’s Dream … A Scum Jumper! Tomorrow at 1 pm we are starting our new recipe for the “Scum Jumper” with a guest brewer and everyone that wants to be a part of this is invited! Come hang with us as we make history in Fairport. Those that are there will be invited back to enjoy the first taste in about 2-3 weeks. Stay tuned on the progress of this first beer dedicated to all those that took the plunge!!! Remember, the first person to show up in their full wet suit gets a free growler and fill!
