2012 Look Back

What is Community Brew?

What is Community Brew? Community Brew is an evening during the week when the community is invited to stop in and celebrate the art of brewing.  It is a fun event where home-brewers and anyone interested in brewing beer can talk to the brewers during the process, taste our beers, and maybe even take home some fresh beer! Sometimes home-brewers bring in some samples of their craft for all to try.  It is truly a celebration of beer! Holiday Hours 2012

Holiday Hours We expect to be open this Friday and Saturday 12/28-12/29 as long as we have beer available for normal hours.  4pm-7pm Friday and 1-6pm Saturday. We will continue into Sunday 11-3pm  and Monday 11-3 pm, 12/30 & 12/31 Closed on January 1st…..Happy New Years  

Fairport’s Brewery

Fairport Brewing Company was started in December 2010 by two home-brewing friends (Tim and Tom) in a rental property on Dewey Avenue in the Village of Fairport, NY. After obtaining our first federal license for the Dewey Avenue location as a brewery, we decided we were going to need more space and found the 1000 Turk Hill location (the old Crossman Air Gun factory- which is now an incubator to many small businesses).  While we were waiting on the federal gov’t to approve the change of address we began the build out of the brewery.  Approximately seven months later on … Continue reading
